Hello.
My Name is Akio Maeshima.
I am passionate about Photograph and Paragliding. I work as a freelance professional photographer and paragliding when I have time. In other words, I make money by photographing and spending it paragliding, lol. 

My career as a photographer started when I was 16 years old (a high school student).  Shooting kids baseball and soccer games as a part-time job.  It was the moment that I decided to become a professional photographer, so I went to photography major in college and end up graduated Master of Media Arts in Photography, Tokyo Polytechnic University, Tokyo, Japan.

It’s been 20 years since I started shooting as a professional. Now I mainly portrait and still life photographs for advertising, magazine, and web-related.

My goal as a photographer is to become more famous and hope more people see my work. Starting this blog is one of the ways to send out to the world about me.

On the other hand, My goal as a paraglider pilot is to participate in the world championship. I want to fly to as many places all over the world as possible to see the world from the sky.

In this blog, I am going to write about photography, paragliding, my daily life, and my thoughts. Also tips about photography and paragliding, of course!
